In 1975 Mr. K.Subramaniyan started the Rotary oil & oil cake business in tamilnadu.He sell the oil & oil cake without brand name. He have one illustrious son Mr.S.kathirvel who built up the business empire in edible sesame oil as traditional family business. Their business base was constructed in the Business town – Virudhunagar.

In 2006 With an experience of more than 31 years, launched sesame oil in a new consumer packing in the brand name ‘IYARKAI Sesame Oil’. ‘IYARKAI’, the name gets its origin from ‘Nisarga’ a Sanskrit word, which means ‘Nature’. IYARKAI sesame oil is a natural cooking medium. Today ‘IYARKAI’, has one of the largest quantity cold pressed sesame oil manufacturer in Tamilnadu.
